Hi, I'm Irene May

I’m Irene May and welcome to my blog Dubenzjy. I’m the author of ‘I Heard About You and Now I Know You’. It’s a guide to get to know God, overcome your hurts, and remove unwanted habits. In it, I pour out my soul in regards to my relationship with God and how He saved me from my dark past. It’s also an easy to understand guidebook for the youth to follow.

Welcome

Hi everyone,

I want to welcome you all and also thank you for connecting to this site. The goal of the site is to encourage one another toward the Christian journey of an intimate walk with God and make our pursuit of His righteousness an exciting one through information.

I pray for divine illumination in wisdom and understanding as He exposes His truth to us. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all, in Jesus’ Name.

Intimacy with God

Intimacy with God has many synonyms, such as knowing God, understanding God, walking with God, walking in the spirit, living in the state of grace, walking in His presence, and many more. Intimacy with God remains a journey in progress; however, living in His presence out shadows man’s deficiencies.

Some think only the Church pastors are to have an intimate dealing with God, and the rest of the parishioners settle just for consultation with the pastor regarding every issue of life. I thank God for our church leaders and pastors for their noble calling as teachers and mentors for our Christian walk and journey, nurturing us all, so we develop and become shoots in the kingdom of God.

Accepting the Lord Jesus Christ

The primary teaching after every church sermon or media teaching is the information that an intimate relationship with the Lord will not happen until after being born again, which means accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into your life.

To enjoy the full benefit from this site, I recommend if you have not asked the Lord Jesus Christ into your life through the believer’s prayer, and you wish to ask Him to be your Lord and savior, you may take the following steps and pray the sinner’s prayer: (However, feel free to decide at your own will and time).

Confess your sins by telling God about every sinful way you have ever lived and ask Him to forgive you, wash your sins off with the blood of Jesus, the atoning blood that He shed on the cross.

The scripture assures us if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us from all our unrighteousness. We believe God by His word, which is valid at all times, so we know His forgiveness after confession is real.

He says, “Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and sup with him, and he with me” (Revelations 3:20).

He says, “Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and sup with him, and he with me” (Revelations 3:20).

Now you can say the sinner’s prayer. Lord Jesus, I thank you for shedding your blood and dying for me on the cross for my pardon and justification. I open the door of my heart to you, please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for coming into my heart. Please give me the grace to with you. You may now thank Him that you are born again.

Living the life of God is by faith, believing every word of the scripture, the walk of every believer in Christ Jesus, knowing God is not a liar.

If you said this prayer, believe you are born again, filled with the Spirit of God, and heaven- bound.
