Hi, I'm Irene May

I’m Irene May and welcome to my blog Dubenzjy. I’m the author of ‘I Heard About You and Now I Know You’. It’s a guide to get to know God, overcome your hurts, and remove unwanted habits. In it, I pour out my soul in regards to my relationship with God and how He saved me from my dark past. It’s also an easy to understand guidebook for the youth to follow.

FREEBIES!!!

“Hey, all who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come! Buy and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk without money and cost! Why pay money for something that will not nourish you? Why spend your hard-earned money on something that will not satisfy? Listen carefully to me and eat what is nourishing! Enjoy the fine food!” (Isaiah 55:1).

“For this is the way God loved the world; He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

“But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us” (Roman’s 5:8).

A Samaritan woman came to Jacob’s well in Samaria to draw some water. Jesus was sitting at the well resting, and he asked the woman to give Him some water. The woman reminded Jesus the Samaritans are an abomination to the Jews, and He could not be requesting water from her. After some verbal exchange, Jesus informed the woman He could give her a type of water that will become a fountain within her springing up to eternal life (John 4: 7-15).

Jesus metaphorically described to the lady a well, the spring of water which soars up like a fountain. If she desired, He would place the gift in her heart, which would spring up by its energy, filling her spirit with music, refreshment, and satisfaction. The woman identified her need for the offer and  desired to have it. She ended up being one of the faithful women in the Bible, who appreciated the truth in the gospel and followed Jesus.

God already provided the way of redemption for man to regain his lost intimacy and rest, by sending Jesus Christ as a lamb of God, slaughtered on the cross, and His blood shed on the cross is the settlement for our sins. All we need do to appropriate this action of God’s love to our individual lives called the step of salvation (born again) is to acknowledge and confess our sins, ask Him for forgiveness, believe, and accept the gift of God, Jesus Christ, ask Him to come into our lives. When we receive the Lord into our lives, he comes to live within our individual lives in the form of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides the believer who yields to Him by reading and obeying the scripture, the Word of God.. Living the New Life promotes intimacy with God, and alienation from the devil. The consistent walk with God through the Holy Spirit is a wellspring of joy, peace, and love for the believer. God’s Freebies are secure and without any remorse or complication, but the devil’s yoke is heavy, he steals, kills, and destroys. Why will anyone delay to accept this gift of intimacy with the Almighty and experience life at its best?
