Intimacy: The Love of God

Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious.                                                                                  Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.
It is not rude, it is not self-serving.                                                                                                          It is not easily angered or resentful.
It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things.                                                                                                 Hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:1-7).

In the same manner God loves, we can subject ourselves to love all irrespective of differences.
The boundless love of God, irrespective of human’s limitations loves the whole world. He demonstrated this by sending His beloved Son who gave His life to take away our sin,“ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 2:16).

We can prepare ourselves to accept the offer of the tremendous love, Jesus Christ. When we accept Him with all her heart, His love, peace, and all the of the Godhead transcends through our being and remains, so long as we remain in Him, and serve Him.
This season of Advent is a unique four Sundays before Christmas. Christians celebrate the significance of Jesus coming to the World, which is the gift of hope, peace, love, and joy. It is also a time to appreciate God’s bountiful love towards man, to give His precious Son, as a sacrifice for man’s redemption from sin and eternal separation.

As we open our lives to embrace this perfect gift of the love of God, we experience the ecstasy of His wonders and love. Paul saw it, and many today still experience the benefits of being partakers of the saving knowledge of His grace. According to Paul,” Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, or have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1Corinthians 2:9).
One can then relate with the Saints of God living and dead, who after experiencing the power of His love and salvation, forsook all and stuck to Him.
When we wrap our lives around the Lord our Savior and the revelation of His love; the affection and lusts for things we can’t let go are weakened by the delight of His embrace. “Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” (Galatians 5:24).

“For by the works of the law shall no man be justified” (Romans 3:20).

Man the previous blogs touched on the process of reaching the level of enjoying the ecstasy of His love. It’s to start at the foot of the Savior’s cross, where He offered His life that we might be set free of every weight and sin that hinder us from attaining the plan of God’s love for our individual lives.
It is effortless to cross over to Him if we are inclined to accept the offer of God’s salvation through the sinner’s confession and Prayer.

Confess, and Ask the Lord to forgive you of every sin and rebellion that held you captive.
Tell Him you open the door of your heart, and embrace Him into your life, as your Lord and Savior.
Believe by faith you are born again, you are saved from eternal damnation, you are heaven bound, and you have easy access to the throne of grace to speak to the father through Jesus Christ.
You can confidently say you are a child of God if you followed the steps of the prayer.                Now you may thank and appreciate Him for coming into your heart.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The new walk with Christ is the step of changing from the culture of sin and the dominance of flesh to the unique style of life in the Spirit.
A daily walk with God involves you to read the Bible (about three chapters) daily, and pray. Use the learning from the scriptures as part of your prayer point.
If you want more information on your new walk with God, you may read my book on Amazon Kindle, “I heard about you, and now I Know You” by Irene May.

“Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk (of the Word), so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” (1Peter 1-2).

What a great love of God!
